Crossroads PSSA Zone Code of Conduct
CROSSROADS ZONE
-provides varied opportunities for students to participate in a range of team and individual sports.
-supports students to follow a representative pathway through Zone, Hunter, State and National levels in physical activity through individual and team sports.
-encourages school participation in both Summer and Winter GALA Days with team sports.
There are two competitions – The Dunford Cup – smaller schools
The Crossroads Cup- larger schools

Crossroads PSSA Code of Conduct
- The goals of the sporting event are to have fun and improve skills. Be modest in success and generous in defeat.
- Play by the rules and always respect the decisions of the officials.
- Display no criticism, either by word or gesture. Deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent or player is not acceptable or permitted in any sport.
- Display good sportsmanship. Applaud good performances and effort from all individuals and teams. Congratulate all participants on their performance regardless of the game’s result.
- Condemn unsporting behaviour and promote respect for all participants.
- Condemn the use of violence in any form.
- Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, culture, background or religion.
- Place the safety and welfare of the participants above all else.
- Ensure that all school sporting events are alcohol and smoke free zones.
- Adhere to all Covid regulations.
